About the Podcast

Mike began watching horror films at a very early age when his father took him to see a double bill of House of Wax (starring Vincent Price) and Night of the Living Dead back in 1971. He grew up watching Creature Features hosted by Bob Wilkins on KTVU channel 2 in the San Francisco Bay Area — and the obsession never let up.

Together with co-host Iris, Mike launched Badasses, Boobs and Body Counts to celebrate the wild, weird, and wonderful corners of genre cinema. The show ran from at least 2012 through October 2016, reaching episode 196 and covering directors such as David DeCoteau, Amando de Ossorio, Doris Wishman, and James Bryan, as well as actors including Linnea Quigley, Brinke Stevens, Michelle Bauer, and Erik Roberts.
