This week on the show Mike and Iris take a look at John Derek’s erotic adventure, Tarzan, The Ape Man (1981). The trailer calls it an “erotic adventure”, though we didn’t really find anything erotic about it. However, Bo Derek gets naked a lot and lets a monkey suckle her nipple. Miles O’Keeffe runs around like a live action meat-puppet and Richard Harris lets his sack go where it wants to. Needless to say, we had a fun time talking about this version of Edgar Rice Burroughs jungle adventure, Tarzan, The Ape Man.

I remembered a few scenes here and there, but not much about how it all plays out. I’m pretty sure I missed all of the incest subtext you spoke about, lol. First came across this when I was 12 or 13. Getting to see that much Bo Derek was a godsend to a horny teenage boy. I remembered a few scenes here and there, but not much about how it all plays out.
